SAME Sponsored by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation

The Georgia Micro Enterprise Network (GMEN) has received funding from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation to strengthen efforts  to use micro enterprise business development as a tool to improve the economic condition and self-sufficiency of low-income mothers and their young children. The program has been rolled out to select southern states to retain and create over 1,000 small businesses and jobs.

Funding for this pilot program is used to build the capacity of the Southeast Association for Micro Enterprises (SAME).
